LESSON 7–May 26, 2020 –Faithfulness: What are you fighting for?

LESSON 6–May 19, 2020 – Kindness and Goodness: Tenderness and Truth in Action

This week we move from patience to kindness and goodness as we study the fruit of the Spirit described for us in Galatians 5:22. The timing of this study could not be more divinely appointed–or needed–in this time when we are asked to be the light of the world in our most unusual circumstances.

The kindness and goodness of our God are so far beyond what we could ever ask or imagine. Won’t you join me as we consider what it means to bear this fruit in our own lives by the power of the Spirit who lives within us as daughters of God? You are welcome to jump into this study with us at any time, even if you haven’t been able to join us for previous lessons!

And as you prepare your heart to receive the tender Word of our God, I encourage you to take a few moments to listen to this song and enter into the wonder of what it means to belong to Him:

LESSON 1 – April 14, 2020

If you have already listened to the teaching time, here is a reminder of the homework we have this week as we invite the Holy Spirit to prepare the soil of our souls for fruitfulness:

Scripture Memory
Search me, God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.
Psalm 139:23-24

Homework
Break up the fallow ground in your soul. It is time to seek the LORD.
  • Memorize the Scripture. Consider writing it out and saying it aloud once each day.
  • Meditate on it and allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you. Choose a time every day, even if it’s just 5 minutes, and pray through the Scripture. Then be quiet and listen.
  • Let Him remove what does not belong. Let Him dig double. Let Him open up some space in the soil of your soul. Then get ready. He wants to bear abundant fruit in your life as you trust Him.

I am praying for you as you allow the Lord to prepare your soul for fruitfulness!Yours,
