Jay and his wife, Janet, both grew up in north Texas before moving to Washington, DC and then Los Angeles while Jay worked for the U.S. Government. After a brief career with the government, Jay was called into ministry. After studying at The Master’s Seminary, Jay has spent 12 years in church ministry and 10 years in Christian education. Most recently he and Janet have served with Global Sharing, a missionary organization that seeks to encourage individuals and churches in being mission-minded. Jay has a heart for people, especially families, and loves pouring into marriages and families! He and Janet have 4 children, Amy, Ashley, Austin, and Addison along with 4 grandchildren. The family enjoys outdoor activities like camping, backpacking, and motorcycle riding. Jay’s favorite bible verse is Acts 17:11.
