WHY we are changing our Sunday Morning Service Structure at FBC
What’s going on here?
Beginning Sunday, February 2nd, 2025, we will be changing our Sunday morning service structure to two 75-minute worship services with a 30-minute fellowship break in between services. We will run our Sunday School discipleship classes concurrently with our worship services. Our first service will begin at 9am and conclude at about 10:15am. Our 30-minute fellowship break will run from 10:15am-10:45am. Our second service will begin at 10:45am and conclude at about noon.
Why are we doing this?
It is our prayer that the additional time for Sunday School discipleship classes offered in this new format will be used for more table discussions and fellowship in this church family. We desire that every one of you in our fellowship grow in the knowledge of Christ as you deepen your personal relationship with Him, and grow to love the Lord more deeply as you grow in fellowship, serving one another in the body of Christ.
FBC VISION: Who Are We Becoming?
- The vision of FBC is to present every person mature in Christ.
Colossians 1:28 (ESV)
Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ.
FBC PURPOSE: Why Do We Exist?
- To reconcile people to God through Jesus Christ by His power and for His glory.2 Corinthians 5:18-19 (ESV)
18 All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.
FBC MISSION: What Are We Doing?
- To transform lives for Jesus Christ.
Philippians 1:6 (ESV)
And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
