Holy Week

Join us for all of our special events during Holy Week at First Baptist Church. From Palm Sunday to Easter morning, the week is full of exciting and meaningful ways to celebrate the season. Check out our website for more information!

 

Sunday, March 29: Palm Sunday 

Title: Welcome the King!

Service Times:  9am & 10:45am

Location: FBC Ministry Center

Description: Welcome the King with us as we celebrate Palm Sunday with our adult choir, children’s choir, palm branches, an encouraging message, and a special surprise guest!

 

Thursday, April 2: Maundy Thursday

Title: Remember Me

Service time: 6pm-8pm

Location: FBC Chapel

Description: Student-led worship, a showing of The Chosen’s depiction of the Last Supper, communion, and a special psalm reading will give us time to reflect and remember Jesus and the meal He shared with His disciples in a meaningful way.

 

Friday, April 3: Good Friday 

Title: Stations of the Cross

Time: 7am – 9pm

Location: Ministry Center

Description: An individual, self-guided interactive prayer journey that “walks in the footsteps of Jesus” as He journeyed to the cross.

 

Sunday, April 5: Easter Sunday

Title: That’s My King!

Service times: 9am & 11am

Location: Ministry Center

Description: Don’t miss this joy-filled morning and message of hope and music as our choir and orchestra lead us in celebration. We will end each service with an invitation to join us in singing The Hallelujah Chorus!

 

Between services and during Sunday School, children will celebrate with a live petting zoo experience!
